Unless you find your true nature, it will eventually find you. In ways that tare and torture!
The more masks you wear, the more skin they tear away. I called it losing everything I believed was me. I was wrong; I only lost what the drift attached. What I found was my real self.

I scorched the foundations and let the old story turn to ash. Now, battle scarred, I am a man who walks other men home, so they don’t get burnt along the way.
